Knowing your Character's point of view becomes a good way to generate conflict.
For example:
Conflict in 3 Idiots.

- In 3
Idiots movie, Aamir khan has a point of view that Education is not merely for
getting a job and settling down, it is more about enriching our lives with
Knowledge. He insists to make use of knowledge and put it to use in everyday
lives.
Whereas,
Professor Sahasrabuddhe has a contradictory point of view.
He believes
that Education is meant to get a job and in order to get a job; it becomes
necessary to mug up notes. He doesn't believe in creative freedom. His point of
view is that students should feel the pressure to study and bag corporate
offers.
- In the
same movie, after Joy dies, Rancho questions Professor
about his points of view,therefore, Conflicts starts in Professor. That
conflict grows in the character of the professor from thereon till the end and
till the time he sees his grandson.
